The School Board extends a cordial invitation to residents and taxpayers to engage in our monthly workshop sessions and action meetings. The next meeting of the board is scheduled for April 14, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the middle school auditorium.

The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors approved the 2026–2027 school calendar at its regularly scheduled meeting on January 27, 2026. The first day of school for students will be Monday, August 31, 2026, and will be an early dismissal day. The last scheduled day of school is Friday, June 4, 2027, which is also planned as an early dismissal day.

The District is actively evaluating facility needs and exploring potential future building options for a Secondary School Complex. To keep our community informed, we’ve created a dedicated webpage that brings together key studies, presentations, and discussion materials from this ongoing process.

EASD is excited to announce that kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open! The District strongly encourages early registration. Registering early not only helps the District plan and allocate resources effectively but also ensures a smooth transition for incoming kindergarten students.

The Elizabethtown Area School District is committed to maintaining a transparent and informative budgeting process. This webpage provides updates, resources, and the Board-approved budget calendar related to the development of the 2026–2027 District budget.

The District's partnership with Empower the Mind offers our District an outstanding community resource in our efforts to support the social-emotional needs of our students. With that said, parents/guardians have the right to opt their child out of receiving the services from Empower the Mind.

We aim to offer a diverse range of high-quality books for all students, including titles for young adults with mature content. If you prefer your student not check out certain books, please complete the opt-out form. This will flag their account and restrict access to those books.
