Individual & Family Support
Parent & Teacher Conferences
Parents and guardians are encouraged to communicate directly with teachers regarding academic progress or classroom concerns. When appropriate, a school counselor can assist in arranging conferences with one or more teachers to support student success.
Student Support
School counselors are available to meet individually with students regarding academic, social, emotional, or personal concerns. When appropriate, counselors may facilitate teacher-student conferences to help resolve misunderstandings, improve communication, and support positive outcomes.
Group Counseling
School counselors also offer group counseling opportunities based on student needs and available resources. These small-group experiences provide students with opportunities to build coping skills, receive peer support, and develop strategies for navigating common adolescent challenges.
Student Assistance Program (SAP)
Students experiencing barriers to learning related to personal, emotional, behavioral, or substance use concerns may be referred to the Student Assistance Program (SAP). SAP connects students and families with appropriate school and community resources.
