Senior Information - Message from the Principal
As we plan for senior year and the Class of 2025 commencement ceremony, the high school wants to provide students and their families with some important information to help prepare for certain milestones associated with students entering their last year of high school. If you have questions about senior year events, please contact the main office at 717-367-1533 or email Gail Fox at gail_fox@etownschools.org. We are honored to share this special time with everyone and look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2025!

Senior Class Meeting - Caps and Gowns
- All seniors are expected to attend a meeting on Wednesday September 4 in the high school auditorium. There are two meeting times - 7:45 AM and 2 PM. Seniors must attend ONE of the two meetings. Attendance will be taken.
- The topic of the meeting is to inform seniors about ordering caps and gowns for graduation and Class of 2025 memorabilia.
- This year, students will need to purchase their caps and gowns for graduation. Seniors will be receiving purchasing information at the meeting on September 4th.
- CTC students - watch for an announcement on how to access the information from this meeting
Rotary Student of the Month
- Senior year, the Elizabethtown Rotary Club recognizes twenty students who have demonstrated academic excellence, school involvement, leadership, high morals and character, and service to community.
- We are asking all students to submit their Academic Senior Resume that contains academic honors, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, community service and any other activities done outside of school by Tuesday, September 3.
- Students should submit their resume by completing the assignment found in their Class of 2025 course in Schoology.
Early Graduation
- Students who notified their counselors in writing before April 1, 2024 of their intent to graduate after the end of the first semester need to submit a written letter addressed to the district superintendent to request early graduation before September 30.
- Please use this template as a guide to writing a grammatically correct letter. The letter must be printed and signed by the student and turned into the counseling office by this deadline. Students MUST have evidence of a post secondary plan clearly outlined in the letter to be approved for early graduation.
- Any senior who graduates at the end of the first semester may participate in prom and spring commencement. Early graduates may not travel with the group senior class trip
- Information on additional recognition of early graduates will be provided closer to the date.
- Please review the early graduation procedures on our website for more information
Names on Diploma
- Students' names will be printed on their diploma using their name as it appears in our Sapphire Student Information System.
- Look for information coming out in late September/early October for seniors that might want to make changes to the name on their diploma. For example, a student may want to have only their middle initial printed instead of their whole middle name.
Class of 2025 webpage
- We warehouse information and forms pertaining to the class of 2025 on the high school website. Seniors and their families can reference this site for updates. The site will be available by September 2.
- The website can be found by accessing the district website and selecting Elizabethtown Area High School → Our School —> Class of 2025
