STEM Summit

The Elizabethtown Area School District partners with Junior Achievement of Central Pennsylvania to provide students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that support career exploration and workforce readiness. As part of the District's Life Ready Learning model, these experiences help students connect classroom learning with future career opportunities.

At Elizabethtown Area High School, students participate in the STEM Summit, an interactive program designed to inspire interest in careers related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Through engaging, hands-on activities and collaboration with industry professionals, students explore a variety of STEM career pathways while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

The STEM Summit helps students better understand how the knowledge and skills they develop in the classroom connect to high-demand careers and future educational opportunities, empowering them to make informed decisions about their postsecondary pathways.
