EAHS Theatre Program Earns Multiple Honors at Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards

Elizabethtown Area High School’s theatre program earned multiple honors at the 2026 Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards, including Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Student Orchestra for Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical. Students and staff were also recognized for individual performance achievements and contributions to the theatre program.

Elizabethtown Area High School Senior Anika Walsh Receives Prestigious Statewide PSBA Trust Scholarship

Elizabethtown Area High School senior Anika Walsh has been awarded the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) Trust’s H.H. Quimby Scholarship, a statewide honor recognizing student representatives to local school boards who demonstrate outstanding leadership, service and civic engagement. Walsh plans to attend George Washington University to pursue a degree in public policy.

East High Emeralds Earn Top 10 Finish at Global Sphero Indi Robotics Championship

The East High Emeralds second grade robotics team earned an impressive eighth-place finish at the Global Sphero Indi Robotics Championship. Competing against 18 K-2 teams from around the world, students Wyatt McCrae, Sebastian Hernandez, Imogen Stambaugh, and Evelyn Herzer showcased their robotics, coding, and problem-solving skills in the international STEM competition.

Elizabethtown Bears Capture First Place in LIU12 Virtual 3D Design Competition

The Etown Bears captured first place in the Grade 3-5 division of the LIU12 Virtual 3D Design Competition. Students Sam Strickler, Jacob Martin, Anderson Palicte, and Oliver Haldeman designed an inclusive high-contrast block puzzle that showcased creativity, teamwork, and innovative problem-solving through 3D design.

Bear Creek Students Showcase Math Skills at 24 Challenge Tournament

Bear Creek School students showcased their mental math and problem-solving skills during the 24 Challenge Tournament at IU13, competing against students from across Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Marshall Thackara advanced to the semifinals, while Israel Tema, Henoc Kazadi, and Sam Stauffer earned table winner honors during the competition.

Elizabethtown Area High School Recognizes Seniors During 2026 Senior Awards Program

Elizabethtown Area High School recognized 72 graduating seniors during the 2026 Senior Awards Program held May 6 at the high school auditorium. Students received certificates, awards, and scholarships totaling more than $75,000 through the generosity of more than 55 community organizations, businesses, clubs, and individual sponsors.
