Elizabethtown Area High School proudly announces that senior Daryn Roush has been named the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) – Willow Street Campus Student of the Month. Daryn, the son of Todd Roush and Kelly Danner, both of Elizabethtown, is being recognized for his outstanding leadership, work ethic, and commitment to excellence in the Welding Technology Program.

EASD Celebrates Teacher Jenna Love, Finalist for 2026 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year
At a special awards ceremony on Monday, December 8, 2025, the Pennsylvania Department of Education formally recognized Elizabethtown Area School District sixth-grade social studies teacher Jenna Love as one of twelve distinguished finalists in the 2026 Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Program, a prestigious statewide honor coordinated through the National State Teacher of the Year initiative.
Kaitlyn Dobyns Named New Principal of Bear Creek School
The Elizabethtown Area School District is pleased to announce that Bear Creek School assistant principal Kaitlyn Dobyns has been appointed as the school’s new principal. The Board of School Directors approved her hiring at its regularly scheduled meeting on November 25, 2025.

The Elizabethtown Area School District proudly announces its 2025 Holiday Concert Series. The five-concert series begins Thursday, December 4, with the Bear Creek Chorus and Orchestra Concert and concludes Thursday, December 18, with the Elizabethtown Area Middle School Band Concert.

The last day of classes before Winter Recess will be Tuesday, December 23rd, with early dismissal for all students. Winter Recess will begin following early dismissal, offering students, staff, and families time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the holiday season.
