EAMS Announces March Students of the Month
EAMS's "Student of the Month" program spotlights the outstanding achievements and personal growth among its student body. Aligned with the school's Leader In Me initiative and drawing inspiration from the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," each month is dedicated to focusing on a specific habit. Throughout March, EAMS focused on Habit 6: Synergize, reinforcing our commitment to helping students build strong relationships, make responsible decisions, and take ownership of their choices.
EAHS Senior Makenzi McFeaters Recognized by College Board’s National Indigenous Recognition Program
Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce that the College Board has recognized senior Makenzi McFeaters in its prestigious National Indigenous Recognition Program. Makenzi joins a select group of students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, leadership potential, and a commitment to the Indigenous community.
Elizabethtown Area High School Students Take Part in Prestigious PMEA Region V Band Festival
Three talented Elizabethtown Area High School students recently participated in the 2025 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Region V Band Festival, held March 6-8 at East Stroudsburg South High School. Representing Elizabethtown in this year’s ensemble were Hayden Simione, Flute; Eleyas Kettering, Baritone Saxophone; and Marley Stauffer, Bassoon.
Elizabethtown Area High School’s 2025 Mini-THON Raises $52,813 for Pediatric Cancer Research
Elizabethtown Area High School’s annual Four Diamonds Mini-THON was a resounding success, raising an impressive $52,813 in support of pediatric cancer research and patient care. Modeled after Penn State’s THON, the event united students, staff, and the community in a night filled with energy, hope, and philanthropy.

Elizabethtown Third Graders Earn Third Place at Mini STEM Bowl
A team of third graders from the Bear Creek School placed third out of 17 teams at the Mini STEM Bowl hosted by IU13 on March 11. The event featured three rounds of quiz bowl-style questions focused on STEM topics.
Elizabethtown Area High School Ninth Graders Explore STEM Careers at Annual STEM Summit
Ninth graders at Elizabethtown Area High School recently had the opportunity to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the STEM Summit, a collaborative initiative with Junior Achievement of Central PA. This event aimed to ignite students' interest in STEM careers by providing hands-on experiences and real-world applications.
Elizabethtown Area High School Inducts New Members into National Honor Society
Elizabethtown Area High School proudly announces the induction of outstanding students into the prestigious T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) during a ceremony held on Tuesday, March 5. Membership in NHS is one of the highest honors bestowed upon high school students, recognizing their excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character—the four pillars that define the society's mission.
