Elizabethtown Area High School Celebrated the Class of 2025 at Annual Commencement Ceremony

Elizabethtown Area High School proudly honored the Class of 2025 during its annual commencement ceremony held Thursday, June 5, at the LCBC Manheim Campus. A total of 318 seniors graduated as part of this year’s Class, including several students who participated in a winter ceremony held earlier in the academic year. The graduates, dressed in traditional blue robes, were led into the auditorium by the class officers. Valedictorian Austin Risser and salutatorian Jacqueline Raybold addressed their classmates, offering heartfelt reflections on their high school journey and words of encouragement for the future.

A team of five second-graders from East High Street Elementary School proudly represented Elizabethtown Area School District on the global stage at the 2025 Sphero Robotics World Championship. This marked EASD’s first-ever appearance in the prestigious international event.

Elizabethtown Area High School Seniors Participate in Annual Senior Walks

As part of graduation week activities, members of the Elizabethtown Area High School Class of 2025 participated in the district’s annual Senior Walks. The tradition allows graduating seniors to return to the buildings where they began their academic journeys. The week began on Monday, June 2, with seniors visiting East High Street Elementary School. On Wednesday, June 4, students who attended Bainbridge Elementary School returned for their walk-through. The week concluded on Thursday, June 5, as the entire Class of 2025 visited Bear Creek School and the Elizabethtown Area Secondary School campus.

Elizabethtown Area High School’s Esports Team made history by capturing its first-ever Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA) State Championship in Overwatch! The championship match, held at Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, PA, pitted Etown against a skilled Westmont Hilltop squad in a high-stakes showdown that tested the team’s focus and resilience.

Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce the recipients of the Underclass Awards for the 2024–2025 academic year. This year, 275 outstanding students from grades nine, ten, and eleven were celebrated during the annual awards ceremony, receiving more than 440 certificates and honors in recognition of their exceptional achievements.
